Our mission at Lord Jameson from the very beginning was to give dogs the best possible culinary experience possible. Fast forward to now - where we offer several different flavors of the most delicious organic dog treats! Our plant-based recipes allow dogs to enjoy treats that are both delicious, healthy, and, beautiful and soft in form. Seeing the look on dogs faces when they enjoy our organic dog treats makes us so happy!
Our Mission is to Give Back
Our team is full of dog parents, dog lovers, and people who want to help dogs in need. Since the start, proceeds from the sale of every item have gone back to support animal welfare organizations including service and therapy dog groups throughout the country. We've always been committed to giving back to animal organizations since we started and we will always continue to do so. Knowing that we are making a difference in animals' lives is what makes Lord Jameson so special. On top of the cash donations, we've donated loads of our treats to animal shelters, too. Seeing photos of the dogs with our treats warms our hearts and inspires us to continue to give back to those who need us most.
We decided to do this not only because we love dogs, but also because our brand ambassador, Jameson, is a certified therapy dog. Jameson has worked to aid the healing process of humans and overall, make others feel happy and loved (the powers of a loving dog, huh?)
As his owner and founder of Lord Jameson said, "Watching him positively impact the life of a stranger in need was so profound I just knew we had to create something special to reward dogs for their unconditional love and give back to the community in the process."
Throughout the years, we've continued to give back to dogs... Now, we're giving back to more!
We're excited to announce that we have partnered up with 1% for the Planet!
For those of you who don't know, 1% for the Planet is a global movement that inspires businesses and individuals around the world to support environmental solutions. Their mission is to protect the future of the planet - which is why we are honored to partner up with them.
Since 2002, 1% for the Planet has helped to direct hundreds of millions of dollars to environmental nonprofits around the world. They do this through annual memberships and everyday actions. The two types of memberships they have are 'business memberships' and 'individual memberships'. We've joined them under the business membership - which means that we will now be donating a portion of our sales to creating a healthier planet.
1% of the Planet has helped the Humane Society and several other organizations that support animal welfare, so we felt that partnering with them was the perfect fit. Through them, we can funnel our donations through their platform which will then help the community at large.
We understand the importance of organic living and why organic matters. (Click here to read our blog post on why organic matters!) More importantly, we are committed to giving back. So, what better way to do so than by partnering up with 1% for the Planet? Aside from the product and cash donations that we are already making to animal shelters and service and therapy dog groups, we will now be donating 1% of our annual sales to support the planet and our precious environment.
1% for the Planet works with other amazing companies like Patagonia, 4Ocean, Klean Kanteen and so much more. We are more than excited to partner up with this organization and continue to give back to this beautiful planet!
